Cloudflare closed the completed November 5 U.S. regular session at $244.51, down 8.28% from $266.58. Its third-quarter results were filed after that close. The report therefore cannot explain the regular-session decline by itself. This November 6 review pairs the completed chart with the subsequently reported results; it does not present a changing premarket quote.
Price and dated levels
The November 5 close was below the $249.77 200-day and $319.00 50-day simple averages. Shares reached $233.62 intraday before recovering part of the session's loss. That low is an intraday reference, not a closing low. A reclaim of the 200-day average would require a completed daily close above it; a premarket move or intraday touch would not establish one.
What the quarter reported
Cloudflare reported $782.5 million of Q3 2026 GAAP revenue, up 39% from a year earlier. Non-GAAP diluted earnings per share were $0.38, compared with $0.27; on a GAAP basis the company recorded a $0.10 diluted loss per share. These are different accounting measures and should not be combined into one earnings figure.
Non-GAAP operating margin improved to 17.5% from 15.3%. The other side of the report matters too: GAAP gross margin fell to 71.2% from 74.0%, and company-defined free-cash-flow margin was 10%, compared with 13% a year earlier. The GAAP operating loss widened to $67.9 million from $37.5 million.
Cloudflare expects fourth-quarter revenue of $845.0 million–$846.0 million and non-GAAP diluted EPS of $0.43. These are forecasts, not reported fourth-quarter results. The release does not give the prior guidance range, so this review does not label the outlook a raise.
What to watch
The next useful test is whether subsequent completed daily closes reclaim the 200-day average, then whether revenue growth converts into stronger GAAP and free-cash-flow margins. A miss on either condition would weaken the setup. The November 5 chart ends before the report; any later price response needs its own dated observation. See Daily Levels and the newsletter.
