TL;DR

  • Super Micro's reported sales were preliminary and unaudited; its completed daily chart stays separate from premarket trading.
  • Arista reported 58.5% annual revenue growth; Block and Toast both raised outlooks but moved in opposite directions early.
  • CVS proposed a separation; election-related explanations for SpaceX's decline remain reported views, not a confirmed cause.

YieldTerminal Pro's November 4 Premarket Map reviews five stories from company filings, news reporting, and a recorded early premarket snapshot. The full video combines the approved Shorts. The dated price charts use completed daily candles through the November 3 regular-session close. Premarket moves were separate observations and are not continuously updated prices.

Super Micro: preliminary figures

Super Micro called its fiscal first-quarter results preliminary and unaudited. The company said its quarter-end closing procedures were incomplete, actual results could differ materially, and its outside auditor had not audited or reviewed the preliminary numbers. It reported net sales above $19.9 billion. The early premarket observation showed the shares higher than Tuesday's close; the chart's daily candle remains the November 3 close.

SMCI: November 3 regular-session close $31.39; 50-day $38.02 and 200-day $32.67 averages.

Arista: revenue growth

Arista reported third-quarter revenue growth of 58.5% from a year earlier and said revenue rose 20.5% from the second quarter. Product revenue exceeded $3.1 billion, up more than 66% year over year. The company reported a 49.1% adjusted operating margin and guided to $3.9 billion to $4.0 billion of fourth-quarter revenue. The chart marks the $169.91 November 3 close, before the report, and its 50-day and 200-day averages.

ANET: November 3 regular-session close $169.91, with 50-day and 200-day averages.

Block and Toast: similar growth, different early moves

Block and Toast each raised their full-year outlooks after reporting third-quarter results. Block's gross profit grew 21.56% year over year; Toast's revenue grew 21.31%. In the recorded early premarket snapshot, Block was higher and Toast lower. That price contrast is an observation, not evidence that either outlook caused the move.

XYZ: November 3 regular-session close $76.00; 50-day $77.78 and 200-day $71.25 averages.
TOST: November 3 regular-session close $33.53; 50-day $31.93 and 200-day $29.34 averages.
Different company metrics: Block gross profit +21.56%; Toast revenue +21.31%. Both raised full-year outlooks.

CVS: proposed separation

CVS said it intends to separate into two independent, publicly traded companies: a healthcare solutions company called CVS Health for now and a retail pharmacy company to be named CVS Pharmacy. It raised full-year adjusted EPS guidance to at least $8.20. Third-quarter adjusted EPS was $2.09, up from $1.60 a year earlier; revenue was $108.4 billion, up 5.4%; the medical benefit ratio fell to 91.3% from 92.8%. The chart shows the $91.41 November 3 close before these announcements.

CVS: November 3 regular-session close $91.41, before the results and separation announcements.

SpaceX after the midterms

SpaceX traded lower in a recorded early premarket observation after the midterm election. CBS News projected Democratic control of the House and Senate. A Stocktwits report carried by Yahoo Finance discussed fears of political backlash, while TipRanks cited an investor-services executive on possible scrutiny of a Tesla-SpaceX merger. These are reported explanations, not a confirmed cause of the price move. The chart is based on completed daily bars through November 3.

SPCX: November 3 regular-session close $141.31; 50-day average $149.68. A 200-day average is not yet available.
