Airbnb reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $4.87 billion, up nearly 19% from a year earlier, and net income of $1.89 billion. A lower tax provision contributed to the net-income increase. Its reported Nights and Seats Booked grew 16% year over year, accelerating from 10% in the second quarter. Adjusted EBITDA rose 22% to $2.51 billion.
The company announced a new authorization to repurchase up to $12 billion of shares, separate from $2.7 billion of authorization remaining at September 30. An authorization is not a completed purchase. Airbnb expects fourth-quarter revenue growth of 16% to 18%. The November 5 close of $170.13 was above its 50-day ($168.96) and 200-day ($147.50) simple moving averages, before the earnings release.
Correction to the spoken Short: its narration says “booked nights and experiences” grew 16%. Airbnb's reported metric is Nights and Seats Booked; the growth rate remains 16%.
