Palantir reports its third-quarter results on Monday, November 2, after the market close. The question is whether the June quarter's rapid U.S. growth and cash generation continued into September. Those results have not been released as of this review.
The reported business
In the quarter ended June 30, Palantir reported $1.935 billion of revenue, up 93% from a year earlier. U.S. commercial revenue was $764 million, up 149%, while U.S. government revenue was $809 million, up 90%. Cash provided by operations was $1.216 billion; the company's separately defined adjusted free cash flow was $1.220 billion. Those are issuer-reported historical figures, not a projection of Monday's result.
The new report should show whether growth is broadening across commercial customers or relying on a smaller group of large contracts. Customer counts, U.S. commercial and government revenue, adjusted operating margin, cash conversion, and any updated full-year outlook will help answer that. Contract value can include options or obligations that do not all become near-term revenue, so it should be read alongside realized sales and cash.
What the chart says
PLTR closed October 30 at $184.11, down 6.27% from the prior regular-session close of $196.42. The day's intraday low was $180.81. The close fell below its 50-day simple average of $186.90, while remaining above its 200-day average of $153.57. Daily share volume was about 27.01 million versus 20.10 million on October 29.
A daily close back above the 50-day average would be a useful recovery check. If the stock remains below it, the October 30 low is the first dated reference for whether selling continues. The wider six-month range is a separate context: its intraday high was $212.94 on October 12 and intraday low $106.37 on June 25. Friday's weakness does not erase that broader range.
This is a pre-earnings setup, not an estimate of the result or a price target. A strong report could still meet a weak chart, and a weak report could change the chart quickly. The next completed daily close after the release is the cleanest test of the levels above.
