SoFi reported record third-quarter revenue and a larger member base before the October 27 regular session. Its shares closed that session at $16.40, up 13.42% from $14.46 on October 26. The result and the price move are separate observations; the report alone does not establish why every buyer or seller acted. SoFi's filed earnings release
Revenue and earnings
GAAP total net revenue was $1.385 billion, up 44% from a year earlier. SoFi's separate adjusted net revenue was $1.371 billion, also up 44%. GAAP net income reached $241 million and GAAP diluted earnings were $0.18 per share. Adjusted net income was $243 million and adjusted diluted earnings were also $0.18 per share. The similar EPS figures do not make the GAAP and adjusted definitions interchangeable.
Members rose 35% to 17.1 million, with 1.2 million added during the quarter. Products rose 44% to 26.7 million, with 2.2 million added. Those are company-reported activity measures, rather than revenue or cash by themselves. Management raised its full-year 2026 adjusted-net-revenue guide to $5.04 billion and adjusted-EBITDA guide to $1.66 billion. They are forecasts, not results already earned.
The completed October 27 chart
SoFi opened at $15.98, traded between $15.67 and $16.76, and closed at $16.40. That was a strong daily gain, yet the close remained below the independently calculated 50-day average of $16.63 and 200-day average of $17.93. The October 27 intraday high of $16.76 is a nearby dated test. A daily retest and close above that high would show stronger follow-through; a later daily close below the October 27 low of $15.67 would weaken the earnings-session move. These are confirmation and failure conditions, not targets.
The next fundamental test is whether member and product growth continues to translate into reported earnings and cash while the higher guidance is delivered. This is market research only, not a recommendation to buy or sell.
